BeebAlarm is independently developed and maintained by an individual developer. We respect your privacy and process information only where necessary to provide app features.
BeebAlarm does not serve ads, create user profiles, or sell your personal information.
Information We Collect
We process necessary information only in the following situations:
- Subscription or payment services: we record order number, payment amount, and payment status to verify orders, handle renewals, and provide support. Payment accounts, card details, and complete payment credentials are handled by payment services or app store platforms; we do not store them.
- Weather feature: we may use your provided or system-allowed approximate location, such as city-level information, to fetch local weather. We do not collect precise location data and do not use location for advertising or profiling.
- Cloud sync: your alarm data is encrypted before upload, and the server stores only ciphertext. You manage your sync code; we cannot read the plaintext content of your alarm data.
- Feedback: feedback content you voluntarily submit is used only to handle issues and improve the app.
We do not collect phone numbers, passwords, SMS verification codes, real-name identity documents, precise geographic location, contacts, camera / photo library / microphone permission data, unique device identifiers, or advertising identifiers.
How We Use Information
We use the information above only to provide cloud sync, weather information, subscription/payment verification, support, and app improvement. We do not use it for advertising, recommendations, or sale to third parties.
The mobile app does not use cookies. Our website may use session cookies to maintain temporary page state, not for tracking or advertising.
Third-Party Services
We use necessary third-party services to provide subscription, payment, and in-app purchase verification. These services receive only the information needed to perform their functions.

Storage and Security
We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. After that, we delete or anonymize it.
Cloud sync data is stored in encrypted form. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no internet environment is completely secure. Please keep your sync code safe.
Your Rights
You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you voluntarily submit. You may also manage permissions such as location in system settings; disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working.
If the law requires us to keep certain information, or if retention is necessary for disputes, audits, or financial records, we may not be able to delete the relevant records immediately.

We may update this policy when features, third-party services, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice or website announcement.
